“Empiria” is the title of a publication series that presents results of empirical studies conducted by research teams and individual researchers from the Institute of Journalism, Media and Social Communication, Jagiellonian University. The contributing authors aim to continue the tradition of Kraków school of empirical research. The books contain clear descriptions of research methods and tools employed in analyses, encourage discussion about the subject matters addressed, processes studied, and about the development of methodology used in research into social communication and the media.
